CK Travels, updated 28 June 2026 after a May visit, counted roughly 80 to 100 food stalls, plus another 50 to 60 selling clothes and souvenirs. Live music most nights. Published hours do not match. CK Travels has the complex from 3:30pm to midnight, with many food stalls closer to 5pm–10pm. We Seek Travel, updated 5 June 2026, says 4pm to 11pm. A third listing updated in October 2026 says 5pm to 11pm. All of them say the same useful thing: at 6pm the food is on. On a holiday, look at the notice before you leave. Nobody charges an entry fee in these accounts. You pay for the plate.

Both CK Travels and We Seek Travel, writing up 2026 visits, put a Thai noodle bowl or pad thai at ฿70–100 and a pizza at ฿200–220. Rolled ice cream was about ฿100. We Seek Travel also had mango sticky rice or a dessert at ฿20–60, a roti at about ฿60, and five chicken or pork skewers at about ฿100.
Beer is the messy one. We Seek Travel still had a small Chang or Singha at ฿70–80. CK Travels, on a May 2026 visit, paid about ฿100 for a small Chang and found the large bottles gone. Drinks come from the bar, not the food stalls. Sit in the food-only section if you are not ordering one. Prices move. This is the band, not a menu.

Landmark sits at the Nopparat Thara end of Ao Nang, across from the beach and beside the wider Ao Nang Landmark complex. That location matters. It turns dinner into an easy evening rather than a taxi mission: walk the seafront before dark, eat at the market, then stay for the stage or continue into the bars around the complex.
Recent 2026 visits reported by CK Travels and We Seek Travel describe a market that has grown: roughly 80–100 food stalls by one estimate, a large outdoor dining area, covered sections, live music and a mix of Thai, Malaysian, Indian, Japanese and Western food. That breadth is its advantage. Nobody has to agree on dinner before arriving.
Landmark is built for visitors. Souvenir stalls, international food and a stage sit next to the Thai dishes, and the prices sit above a local market. If you wanted a quiet lane of family stalls, this is not it.
Arrive around 6pm, not at the first time printed on a listing. The published opening hour is 3:30pm, 4pm or 5pm depending on who you read. The food is the part that settles the argument.
What the evening is actually like
Landmark is closer to an open-air food court with entertainment than a traditional produce market. The main food section combines covered and uncovered seating; the larger bar and stage anchor the outdoor area. Recent visitors found Thai noodles, seafood, curries, roti and desserts alongside pizza, sushi and other international choices. Vegetarian and vegan stalls were also present.
Expect to browse, order from several places and reconvene at a table. That format works particularly well for families and groups. CK Travels’ May 2026 visit also found children’s activities, live performers and, on some fight nights, a short Muay Thai preview connected with the neighbouring stadium. Treat the entertainment as a bonus rather than a timetable: dinner is the reliable part.
For the easiest sequence, start with sunset or an early walk along Nopparat Thara and Ao Nang, then cross to the market once the stalls are in full swing. Wednesday and Saturday: use them if they suit, not because a list said so
Ao Nang Wednesday Night Market and Klong Haeng Saturday Market sit farther inland in the same broad Klong Haeng area. Current listings place the Wednesday market in the late afternoon and the Saturday market slightly earlier. Neither has the depth of current official reporting or recent traveller accounts available for Landmark.
That does not make them bad markets. It makes them poor anchors for a short holiday. Visit when you are nearby, want a smaller local food stop and can confirm that week’s market is running. Do not cross Ao Nang solely because an old directory promises an “authentic hidden gem”; that phrase has stranded more dinners than rain.
Blue Mountain Night Market, up by Hotel Adam and Sea Seeker, opened in 2025. CK Travels walked it on a Friday in May 2026 and found about 10 to 15 stalls open out of roughly 100. The beer was cheaper than Landmark. The room was almost empty. I would not cross town for it.

What not to confuse with a night market
Ao Nang Local Market is a fresh-food market, not an evening substitute for Landmark. It is the more interesting choice if the aim is produce and everyday shopping rather than dinner, music and a seat with a drink.
If market-going is a larger part of the trip, Krabi Town changes the answer. Its weekend Walking Street is about a 30-minute drive from Ao Nang and rewards the journey with a broader town-centre market.
A simple plan that works
- Choose Landmark by default. It has the range, seating and evening energy most visitors mean when they ask for an Ao Nang night market.
