Ao Nang Wednesday Night Market

The Wednesday night market runs in the centre of Ao Nang, drawing locals and visitors to browse stalls of grilled seafood, pad thai, fresh fruit, coconut pancakes and cheap souvenirs. It's smaller and more local in character than the main Ao Nang beachfront strip, with prices pitched to Thais as much as tourists — street food dishes run ฿40–80. The market sets up from around 6pm and wraps by 11pm; most stalls are busy from 7pm onwards. It's walkable from hotels along the Ao Nang main road and a good alternative to the beachfront restaurants for a cheap dinner.
