Than Bok Khorani National Park

A compact national park north of Ao Nang built around a spring that fans out into a chain of emerald ponds and small waterfalls beneath big shady trees. It's an easy, flat wander on paved paths — good for families and anyone not up for a hike. You can swim in the lower pools. The park is also the mainland base for boat trips into the Than Bok mangroves and nearby sea caves. Foreigner entry is a few hundred baht. Quieter and greener than the Emerald Pool crowds.
