Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park

The mainland headquarters of the Nopparat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi marine park, and the long, casuarina-lined beach in front of it. At low tide the sea pulls right out and you can walk to a small offshore island across the sand. The beach itself is free and quiet compared to Ao Nang next door. The park pier here is a departure point for island tours, and the visitor centre explains the reefs you'll be snorkelling. Good sunset spot, few crowds.
