Phang Nga Bay is the postcard — emerald water studded with sheer limestone islands, sea caves and the famous leaning rock at James Bond Island. You reach it on a day tour from Krabi, usually by speedboat or longtail, often with a sea-canoe leg that paddles you into the hongs (hidden lagoons) inside the karsts. It's touristy at the headline stops and quiet everywhere else. The national park fee is on top of the tour price. Go for the canoeing through the caves rather than the crowded James Bond photo op.
