Wat Sai Thai

A working Buddhist temple in the Sai Thai area, about 15 minutes south of Krabi Town, with a large reclining Buddha and golden chedis visible from the road. It's not a tourist showpiece — monks live and practise here — so it rewards a quiet visit with respectful dress (shoulders and knees covered). The grounds are calm even in peak season. Small donation boxes are at the entrance; entry is otherwise free.
