Thapom Klong Song Nam

Klong Song Nam means 'two-water canal', and that's the trick here: a short jungle boardwalk follows a clear spring stream where fresh water from the hills meets the tidal salt water, and depending on the tide you can see the two layers, one over the other. The stream runs an unreal blue-green over pale roots and sand. It's a flat 20-minute loop, easy for anyone, and a cool, shady escape on a hot day. Small entry fee. North of Ao Nang, easy to pair with Than Bok Khorani.
