Loh Ba Kao Bay

Loh Ba Kao Bay sits on the quieter northeastern coast of Phi Phi Don, reached by longtail from Tonsai Pier in around 10–15 minutes. The bay has a wide, soft-sand beach with calm, clear water — less visited than the main Tonsai tourist area because there's no road access and it's off most day-trip itineraries. A limestone rock formation marks one end of the beach, and the shallow reef edge makes for easy snorkelling without equipment hire. It sees a fraction of the crowds that gather at Maya Bay or the main Phi Phi viewpoint, and arriving early in the morning can mean having the sand largely to yourself.
