Lagoon

A hidden lagoon in the Railay–Phra Nang cliffs, reached by a short but genuinely tough scramble — ropes, mud and sharp limestone — up over a saddle and down into a tidal pool sunk deep among the karsts. It is not for the unfit or the flip-flop crowd; you'll be climbing hand-over-hand. But drop into that green, cliff-walled pool at the right tide and it's the wildest spot on the peninsula. Free, but wear grippy shoes and go at mid-to-high tide. Reached from Phra Nang Beach.
