Klong Muang Beach

Klong Muang is where Krabi goes quiet. A stretch of calm, shallow beach north of Ao Nang lined with a handful of upmarket resorts and not much else — no bar strip, no jet skis, no touts. The swimming is gentle and the sunsets face straight out over the islands. It's not the whitest sand on the coast, but the peace makes up for it. Good base if you want to slow down and still be a short drive from the Ao Nang action. Free, public access.
