A highland viewpoint out past Nong Thale, up in the hills where the land turns to red earth and rubber plantations. The draw is the sea of morning mist that pools in the valleys below the ridge — turn up before dawn and you look down on cloud with karst peaks poking through. Later in the day it's a quiet lookout with a couple of simple cafés. It's a drive to get there and best in the cool season when the mist forms. Free, but you'll want your own transport.
