The Blue Pool — Sa Nam Phut — is the Emerald Pool's stranger sibling, a deep spring-fed sinkhole about a 15-minute walk further into the forest. The water glows an intense turquoise-blue from the dissolved minerals, and it's genuinely mesmerising. You can't swim in it — the pool is unstable and off-limits — but it's the photo people trek in for. It shares the Khao Pra-Bang Khram reserve entry with the Emerald Pool, so do both in one go. The colour is strongest under midday sun.
