The Poo Dam Night Market (Black Crab Market) runs daily 5pm–10pm at 243 Utarakit Road; the Weekend Walking Street on Soi Maharaj 8 runs Friday to Sunday from 5pm. Together they form the best eating area in Krabi Town — Thai curries, grilled satay, fresh fruit and local sweets from around ฿30 a dish. About 30 minutes from Ao Nang by songthaew.
